Stadhuis en belfort van Lier
Town Hall Lier in the province of Antwerp, is one of the few public buildings that were built in the rococo style of Brabant.
In the 14th century city hall chamber was clothiers. There was trading cloth that is quite profitable for the city. A little later, near the Cloth Hall was located city magistrate. In 1418, the town hall was rebuilt. Remained intact only the side walls of the building. Rooms City Hall decorated with unique collections of antiques and paintings.
Located opposite the town hall Lirskaya Belfry in the Gothic style, erected in 1369. Once the tower also served as part of cloth series. Today it is a World Heritage Site.
