Het belfort van Menen
Menen Belfort in the main square of the Flemish city Menen. Its construction was started in 1574 and lasted for several decades because of the then eighty-year war. Such long-standing structure is witnessed many historical events and proud of their city.
The building can be seen Menen Belfort sculpture that depicts the flagellation of Christ. And here is the carillon bells with forty-nine. Tower is adjacent to the town hall Menen.
Belfort Menen was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
