Princes Park (Retie)
The small town of Reti in the province of Antwerp about three hundred years ago was just a swampy terrain where sheep grazed. In 1854, Belgium's King Leopold I acquired in these places, several hundred acres of land to create a park and palace construction. Castle of natural landshavtov was never built.
Nowadays natural park in Reti area of 215 hectares, is a famous place for outdoor recreation among residents and visitors alike. This is an ideal area for jogging, walking and outdoor picnics. Here you can see the diversity of vegetation and ponds, the park is home to many species of birds.
