Graslei and Korenlei
Graslei means "Street greens and vegetables" and Kornlyay - "Wheat Street." Both streets since 1952 are historic district of the city of Ghent in Belgium.
Famous streets stretched along the shore of the old port of Ghent. In earlier times and Graslei Kornlyay were the center of foreign trade. Street Graslei traded various herbs and vegetables, and Kornlyay - grain. Today, walking through the colorful historic waterfront, you will see the Church of St. Nicholas' Church and St. Michael the Archangel. Also attracted the attention of ancient buildings of the Middle Ages. Many of the buildings are located on these streets, recognized historic monuments in Belgium.
