Schepenhuis (Aalst)

In the central square of the city of Aalst, in the Belgian province of East Flanders, is famous City Hall.
First City Hall was built on this site back in 1225. Over the years, partially exposed to destruction. In 1886, the facades were restored. The building, which now adorns Aalst, from the 15th century and still has many fragments of this period. During these years, next to the town hall was built with carillon Belfry decorated with statues and graphs Aalst Flanders. Also here you can see the sundial in 1600. Belfry of Aalst is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
By City Hall adjacent outbuilding top which is decorated with sculptures of Themis, Charles V and a few cultural figures of Aalst.
